Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
Last updated: 2026-09-08
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), and similar state privacy laws, California residents and other qualifying consumers have the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of their personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Nexcom Media does not sell personal information or share corporate-site visitor information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Display advertising is disabled. You can still exercise your privacy rights through the options below:
1. Browser Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal
If your browser sends the Sec-GPC: 1 signal (or the equivalent W3C standard), we automatically treat your visit as an opt-out request. No further action required.
Use a browser or extension that supports Global Privacy Control to send this preference. Availability depends on your browser.
2. Industry opt-out tools
These tools opt you out of interest-based advertising across many ad networks at once:
- DAA (US) WebChoices opt-out
- NAI (US) opt-out
- Google Ads Settings
- European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance (EU/UK)
3. Email request
Send an opt-out email to editor@nexcom.media with subject "Do Not Sell Request." Include:
- Your full name (or pseudonym you wish us to recognize you by)
- Email address you have used on the Service (for verification)
- Optional: a verification statement that the request relates to your own information
We respond within 15 business days (45 days max under CCPA).
What "opt out" means in practice
While advertising is disabled, this Service does not build behavioral advertising profiles or share visitor information for cross-site advertising. Your request does not prevent us from:
- Responding to your request and maintaining records needed to honor your preferences
- Continue to use cookies strictly necessary for the Service to function
Authorized agent requests
You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. The agent must provide written authorization, and we may verify your identity directly.
Non-discrimination
We will not discriminate against you for exercising your right to opt out. We will not deny services, charge different prices, or provide a different level of service because you opted out.
For full details about how we collect, use, and share information, see our Privacy Policy.
