What We Are
Nexcom publications are AI-assisted, human-supervised local news services. Our systems continuously monitor trusted local sources — television and newspaper feeds, city governments, school districts, and official channels — and draft concise summaries that link back to the original reporting. People choose the sources, set the editorial rules, review flagged items and samples of published output, and correct the record when we get something wrong. We are a technology-forward publisher, not a traditional newsroom, and we do not claim to be one.
What We Do, and Don’t
We summarize the reporting of the outlets we credit, and we link readers to the original story. We do not produce original reporting and do not claim to. We do not invent bylines, quotes, facts, or sources. We do not aggregate obituaries — families are best served by the original published notice. Where an older article was published without a recorded source link, it is attributed to our editorial desk rather than to a source we cannot verify.

When you open a Nexcom property, the page is already rendered — server-side, at the edge, closest to you. No spinners, no content popping in piece by piece. Fast is a feature, and we treat your time as the scarce resource it is.
How We Are Funded

Accountability
We make mistakes, and we correct them in the open. Every publication maintains a public corrections log at /corrections and a corrections policy that commits us to acknowledge reported errors promptly and publish dated corrections. If something on any of our sites is wrong, tell us at editor@nexcom.media — it will be reviewed and, if warranted, corrected and logged publicly.
